My name is Abi Tonge, I am a tattooer of 8 years based at The Foundry in Leeds UK. With a specialization in black bold decorative ornamental tattooing, my work is primarily influenced by the rich cultures of India and Southeast Asia. I draw inspiration from ancient tattooing practices, decorative patterns, interiors, and architectural design and I strive to create unique, bold and decorative markings that people can proudly wear as a permanent expression of themselves and grow with throughout their lives. 

From an early age, I have always felt a deep connection to patterns in all their forms and originalities. Being able to translate this love for pattern into the world of tattooing is a truly beautiful outcome.

Traveling to the countries that inspire my tattooing and art projects holds immense importance to me. It allows me to immerse myself in their cultures, connect with their traditions, and find ways to give back. These experiences not only fuel my creativity but also deepen my understanding of the art form.
